Key Skills / Functional Skills Trainer
The main purpose of this post is to provide training to young and adults. The post involves training in Literacy,
Numeracy, Personal Effectiveness and help with job search and the adaptation to a work environment.
The post holder will be expected to work with other team members to develop a structured framework of training which
focuses on the needs of the group and ensures each learner achieves their individual targets. They will also be
expected to work towards the achievement of organisational targets determined by the requirements of external contracts.

Childcare Assessor - Trainer
The purpose of the post is to assess and train Child Care to group of people on Apprenticeships (level2) and
Advance Apprenticeships (level 3) and Adult programmes (Train to Gain). This involves employability, Key / Functional / Basic Skills,
development and monitoring of work placement / employers activities and delivery of NVQ Level 2 and 3 and Technical Certificate in
Child Care. The post holder will develop and maintain a structured framework of Child Care which focuses on the needs of the
learners and be responsible for all aspects of quality assurance within the learners engaged in Child Care department and day-to-day
running and delivery of Child Care activities.
As well as planning programmes of training the post holder will be responsible for work place assessments, and for
ensuring that learners are placed in placements which can meet the requirements of their training programme. In line with
all posts at Springboard your performance will be monitored against targets negotiated with your manager.
