About Us

Springboard Southwark as a training company first established in 1979 by Community Service Volunteers (CSV) our parent company. We became a Limited Company and registered charity in 1986. We deliver government-funded training, though we are financially independent and locally managed to provide vocational training to national standards, and employment opportunities for young and adult people in South East London. This is done on both pre-employment and work-based programmes. From our base in Southwark we operate across the boroughs of Southwark, Lewisham, and Lambeth. We offer a wide range of training, primarily for young people aged 16 to 24 from South and South East London, to help them develop and improve their skills. Opportunities are also available for adult learners.

We provide quality training and full Apprenticeships, Advanced Apprenticeships framework in Early Years Care and Education, Business Administration, other training programmes and work-focused volunteering opportunities. We have over 30 years' experience in training young people and adults looking for new skills and qualifications and helping unemployed people back into work. We have links with many employers, and are always keen to hear from employers who are interested in providing work placement opportunities. We believe that everyone has something to offer, and value all people equally. We aim to help people develop their knowledge and skills so they can achieve their education or employment goals.
